Praise for year 5's project exhibition

Yesterday, Year 5 had their project outcome day and spent it selling recipe cards and spice mixes they had designed and made to raise money for the WWF. Not only did they raise over £700 for the charity, we also received the following wonderful email from a member of the public;

Dear Sir/Madam

I would just like to say that myself and my 17 year old daughter enjoyed a

lovely experience whilst shopping in town today. We were approached by some of

your charming children who were friendly, smart and polite. One boy in

particular, was helping us out with our selection (unfortunately, we didn't get

his name). He may remember us, as we didn't want the vegetarian option, because

as he put it "you like your meat!"  Also, he used the word ‘technically' which I

loved, as my husband tells me I use this word all the time.

We were very happy with our purchase of the Chicken Dhansak curry recipe with

spices which we can't wait to try.

The whole experience made our day!

Thank you very much

The news paper also covered the special event...read all about it here;
